Welcome, one and all, to the most joyful, Toyful Wonderworld, where imagination shines as bright as the stars! Or at least, that's how it used to be. Due to something unknown, all of the staff of this magical place have disappeared, and the Toyfriends within its walls have gone crazy! Armed with your gun, you must explore Toyful Wonderworld and find out who or what is responsible for these strange events.

Born from the code of my Bad Toys fangame, Toyful Wonderworld is a spiritual continuation of that story. Still heavily inspired by the original classic and its unofficial sequel, this game's visuals were built from the ground up, while also featuring the return of my original creations from the demo as this game's Toyfriends! If you want an idea of how the game plays without the price point, check out Bad Toys: The Other Mission, which of course plays very similarly!

Features:

- Seven levels to explore

- Three weapons to use in battle

- Six unique enemies to fight

- Customizable control and sound options

- Three difficulty settings

Right now, the first world is available to play, including four refurbished levels from the original demo, as well as two brand new ones and a boss battle. There are also multiple control schemes available to fit your playstyle. Feel free to leave comments on what you'd like to see improved, and I truly hope you enjoy the first part of your adventure through Toyful Wonderworld!

UPDATE: I've decided to make the game free so that it's more accessible to people, but donations are still appreciated. Of course, many thanks to those who already showed their support for this project!

UPDATE 2/20/2024: Fixed a bug that would soft-lock the game after multiple game overs. Make sure to redownload the newer version!

any more updates coming?

There will be in the near future. At the moment, I've been occupied trying to get a Steam version of the demo running, which is quite a bit more complicated than expected.

had an idea... what if the DD7 and the ELM500 were hidden weapons you can find and unlock?

Had a blast for what I got through! A LOT longer game then I thought! Reminded me alot of a kids version of Doom/Wolfenstein, with a slight 5 Nights At Freddy's background. Cool game, I will have to finish it sometime!

Glad you liked the game, and your commentary on it was great! Thanks for playing!

Just one question, at around 10:57 in your video, it looked like the screen blacked out for a bit. Was that some kind of video glitch or did it happen in-game? I think I've seen it happen before in another video, so I'd like to address it if it's an issue!

I happens when ever you click off the game, When I went to adjust the avatar.

Solid experience.  Bad Toys 3D is definitely one of those FPS games that I don't think a lot of people even remember.  The whole Windows 3.1 scene was a weird one, so I think it is understandable.

This is a great spiritual successor.

Thanks for playing through the game, especially the last few levels since I've been wanting to see someone go through the maintenance tunnels and the boss fight. Glad to see that the map made navigation easier this time around!

The early Windows era certainly was a weird time, but I always loved the feel of it!

Congrats for this gem. When I´ve finished the 7 levels I want to write a review. All I can say is thank you for keeping the spirit of BD 3D alive. It´s one of my favourite games of my childhood. It´s a pity that the game is widley unknown.

Btw, did you know a good solution for playing BD 3D on modern systems?

Thank you so much! And please, do let me know if everything is running smoothly.

Wish I could say I knew of a way to run Bad Toys on a modern computer. One of these days, perhaps I'll go back and try to remake the levels from the original, since I essentially replicated the engine on GameMaker.

sounds great.

I'm now in Level 5 and Had No bugs or glitches. It runs very well.

It's very cool to see that I'm not tue only one who love BD 3D :D

Things get a little spookier in that level, so I hope you survived! I was actually surprised to find quite a few people still remember Bad Toys, so I don't think it's completely forgotten.

I made it through. It was quite a challenge but in the end I made it very quickly. I must say, this part makes this great game even better.

It's disappointing that you can't write messages here. Did you have a place where I can write to you directly?

I suppose you can on Reddit, I'm under the same Wicked Figs moniker there.
